Sales Representative (NSW)

Exciting & rare opportunity to utilize your knowledge of paint/coatings, or perhaps you are in a hands-on related trades role and you are seeking a new opportunity that will put you on the roadmap starting a sales career.  Our client is hugely respected in the industry and great training is provided for this Sydney based role.

Our client is well respected throughout Australia and NZ where they are known to be a premium supplier for their range of protective coatings.  They have continued to focus on providing superior products and adding value to their clients by being able to provide technical information and application details.
Key to your success will be your ability to communicate with a diverse mix of customers from on floor applicators, business owners and contractors, where you will effectively build long term relationships across their business. You will also need to have impressive time management and superb organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continue to build and maintain great relationships within your sales territory.
  • Drive sales growth by increasing market share through your current customer base and identifying new sales leads.
  • Keep detailed customer records on clients and new prospects.
  • Provide expert product knowledge that will be tailor to their specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across the business to enhance service levels.

Key Requirements:

  • Mechanical engineering or a related field with basic chemical. knowledge or experience in coatings/paint.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to engage with clients, present solutions, and build rapport.
  • Capable of managing a busy schedule and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Eager to expand technical knowledge and add value to customers.
  • Committed to understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
