About the Role:

Do you have impressive sales experience along with a natural passion for boating, if so this could be the ideal role for you.

Primary focus of this role is to lead sales strategy, manage distributor network and support product development in this autonomous role as a Distributor Representative – Marine Sector.

Specialists in the manufacture, formulation, and specification of high-performance marine protective coatings throughout the Southern Pacific and Australasian regions, our client is dedicated to building enduring customer relationships and providing world-class products backed by world-class technology.

We are seeking a dynamic, personable, high-achieving individual with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of clients; including boatbuilders, pleasure craft and boat owners.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate sales strategies to develop your market share. 
  • Maintain relationships with existing distributors. 
  • Analyze sales and customer service, generate leads, and improve the client experience.
  • Assist with product management, ensuring a high level of client exposure.
  • Track and manage sales pipeline in the CRM and weekly reporting. 

Skills & Experience:

  • A personable individual with excellent communication skills. 
  • A strong client focus and strong negotiation skills.
  • To engage clients in a relatable fashion utilising your knowledge of the marine industry. 
  • Excellent time management and self-motivated. 
  • Innovative and driven mindset and preferably with a passion for boating. 
  • Current NZ Driver’s license.
