Our client is a dynamic manufacturing organisation across APAC, with a strong focus on nutraceutical and nutritional products. They are in a very strong position to take advantage of various booming export markets.

On their behalf, Scitex is seeking a Corporate Legal Counsellor to provide expert legal support across our Clients group, focusing on commercial contracts, property transactions, and corporate governance.

In this new non-traditional role reporting to the Legal and Corporate Manager.

This a unique hands-on role for someone with the right attitude and experiences, wanting exposure within an evolving company.

• Provide legal counsel on a range of issues including commercial contracts, property, employment, and corporate governance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
• Maintain an organized documentation and contract management system.
• Manage external legal advisors and their fees for major transactions and disputes.
• Assist with company secretarial duties and compliance with ASIC regulations.
• Support the implementation of risk and compliance frameworks.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the group.

What you need to bring:

• Law degree and unrestricted practising certificate in NSW.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in commercial law.
• Mandarin-speaking ability preferred; New Zealand legal experience is a plus.
