Our Yennora, NSW-based client is seeking a results-driven Commercial Business Development Manager to spearhead new business opportunities and drive commercial success with a focus across the East Coast.

About the Role:
As a world-class, industry-leading aerosol, chemical, and coating manufacturer, they need a strong, proactive salesperson who thrives on hunting for new business while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. If you have a proven track record in business development, sales, and strategic growth, this is your chance to make a real impact in a dynamic and fast-growing company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a powerful business development strategy to expand the network and increase sales.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, distributors, and key stakeholders. Manage some existing accounts.
  • Negotiate and close deals with confidence, ensuring long-term business growth.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new product opportunities and market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams across Australia and New Zealand to ensure seamless operations.

Key Requirements:

  • A go getter with a strong background in business development, sales, or account management – with historical wins to prove it!
  • An understanding of franchising and distribution models.
  • Exposure to contract manufacturing would be helpful.
  • Excellent negotiation skills – you know how to close deals and build lasting partnerships.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A strategic thinker with solid business planning and contractual management experience.
  • High-level organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
