About the Role

Reporting to the Technical Manager and working closely with an experienced technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting the calibration and maintenance of over 1,000 pieces of equipment and utilities, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn to administer, improve and support the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to help reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
Assist with calibration and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, ensuring it meets schedules, standards, and procedures.
Work with suppliers and contractors for calibration, maintenance, and repairs.
Develop skills in maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
Support the manufacturing team by minimizing downtime during equipment maintenance and breakdowns.
Help implement new equipment and processes in the manufacturing environment.
Contribute to process improvements and corrective actions related to equipment.

Key Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years calibration/GMP experience or a background as a lab technician is ideal – training will be provided.
A keen eye for detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience working with a CMMS system is very helpful.
Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
