Manufacturing Manager

At Scitex, we’re working with a long-established food manufacturer who is seeking an experienced and proven Manufacturing Manager to lead operations at their Mt Maunganui site.

This senior role is suited to someone who thrives on leading large-scale manufacturing teams, driving operational performance, and developing leaders to step up into future challenges. You’ll bring a steady hand, seasoned food industry expertise, and the ability to create a culture where safety, quality, and continuous improvement are second nature.

While the focus is on people and performance leadership, you’ll also draw on your technical background – ideally in process or chemical engineering – to optimise plant performance and ensure smooth, efficient operations.
What you will do

• Lead and grow a capable, engaged, and future-ready operations team
• Drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across site operations
• Balance daily delivery with long-term planning and capability growth

What we are looking for

• Senior leadership experience in food manufacturing
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and grow teams for future success
• Experience overseeing OPEX budgets and driving cost efficiency
• Process/chemical engineering background is advantageous
